…AN ARTIST DEFINING OUR FUTURE…
“J London Imports is a one-woman operation” - Billboard Magazine
“Damn! You are an incredible presence-what a performer!”-Rich Kaminsky, WPKN
“Your voice is absolutely angelic”-Harlan Friedman, WLIR
Starting out temping at labels, Jenn London quickly learned all aspects of the music business. In 2001 the J. London Imports label emerged to self-release “Crazy Thoughts” produced by Marc Swersky. This well-received debut album, armed with the musical talents of Kevin Topping (Blondie), Keanu Kim (Gwen Stefani), James Elliot (Leona Naess) and Mark Slutsky (Splender), garnered press and radio
not usually attainable by an independent, self-releasing artist. Jenn had committed herself to an ultimately successful promotional campaign with Billboard Magazine recognizing her efforts stating“J London Imports is a one-woman operation”.
In 2002 she licensed songs for use in MTV’s Road Rules and her track “Make A Difference” was featured in a 9/11 remembrance special. She’s made tv and radio talk show appearances while her independence and entrepreneurial spirit keeps her gigging in the Northeast with solo tours throughout the US playing at
various music conferences and colleges. In 2003 she was selectively hired to perform in the Middle East for an Armed Forces Entertainment Military Tour.
In 2005 Jenn added producer/engineer to her credits with her sophmore release "Brutal Evolution". Then in 2007, as a means of alternative distribution, she founded 800-4-COFFEE, a coffee gift basket business that promotes and sells independent artist CDs.
Her latest project has her back in the studio working on a 5 song EP due out Fall 08. It's a vocally driven, acoustic/orchestral rock album titled “Sweet Perfection”.
Current undertakings involve college and high school bookings (focusing on March to celebrate Women’s History Month), promotion of the upcoming album, licensing and securing retail distribution.
